The Future Land Use Map (FLUM) serves as a guide for planning growth and addressing needs in the County’s unincorporated areas. Through defined future land use categories, the FLUM outlines the type and location of potential development and aligns with community values and long-term goals. While the FLUM itself is not regulatory, it provides the basis for future zoning changes and land use regulations in the County. 


About Blueprint Summit

Summit County created Blueprint Summit in the summer of 2023 to be a central hub for the community to share their ideas and be involved with planning for Summit County's future. With so many world class recreation opportunities in your backyard, busy routines and life obligations, it can be hard to participate in community meetings and have your voice heard. This page will offer online involvement opportunities and highlight key ways to get involved throughout the Plan process to ensure that we hear from everyone who would like to participate.

In order to join the conversation, we encourage you to register by navigating to the top right on the header of this page and select "Register". This will allow the project team to gain a better understanding of who we are hearing from in the community and keep participants up to date with new information.
